Extrapolated Cities – DRH :: Gen AI Seminar

Harry Winter, Luka Rigter, Mia Crawshay and Mira Messerly share their experiences and insights on the uses of AI to complete their project for the Design 5 Studio. Looking at how they used it from concept development, to design, to fabrication, and presentation.

This Design 5 Studio explored the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in architecture, investigating the next wave of hybrid architecture, where data and material converge to forge cyber-physical environments.

The projects by these students showcase the use of different AI technologies to curate and guide AI in the creation of intricate spatial environments. This results in the development of a collection of AI-generated spatial projections.
